6 years agoDallas Mavericks guard Jalen Brunson made the most of Luka Doncic (ankle) being ruled out Friday as he went off for a career-high 22 points in the 10-point loss to the Nuggets on Friday. Brunson drained eight of 12 shots from the floor and added five dimes with two rebounds and a steal with a block with three makes from three. The only negative to take away from this career night was he did commit five turnovers, which can be expected as the young guard had some extra ball-handling duties with Doncic out. If Doncic sits again on Saturday, throw the hot Brunson into some of your lineups.--Gianni Costantiello
