6 years agoCharlotte Hornets center Cody Zeller set a new career-best with 28 points on 13-for-14 shooting during Monday’s defeat to the Golden State Warriors. Zeller was essentially perfect down low, tying for his highest minutes total (37) logged this season. He also added value on the glass, pitching in nine rebounds to go along with three steals, three blocks and two assists. While Monday’s performance can be seen as an outlier, Zeller has scored in double figures in six consecutive games, seeing 30 or more minutes in four of those contests -- Charlotte’s big man has likely earned his way onto many season-long fantasy playoff rosters.--Jesse Borek
