6 years agoLos Angeles Lakers center JaVale McGee tied his season high with 21 points during Saturday’s loss to the Phoenix Suns. McGee has come off the bench the past three contests while the Lakers tinker with a small ball starting five, but that didn’t influence McGee on Saturday, as he made all 10 of his shot attempts across 26 minutes. Necessitated to play in order to check Deandre Ayton on the defensive end, rostering McGee on nights when the Lakers are facing a true center seems like a worthwhile strategy. He’ll square off with former teammate Ivica Zubac on Monday when the Lakers face the Clippers, who are allowing the most fantasy points per game this season to opposing centers.--Jesse Borek
