6 years agoAtlanta Hawks center Alex Len had a monster showing during Sunday’s victory over the Chicago Bulls, collecting a season-high 28 points, while knocking down a career-high five threes. As recently as the 2017-18 season, Len attempted just three triples in an entire season. Fast-forward to Sunday and he finished 5-for-8 from deep, adding nine rebounds, two assists and two blocks in his 27 minutes for what was his best fantasy performance in years. Without John Collins or Omari Spellman in the frontcourt, Len was relied upon for not only minutes, but offensive contributions, which he was all too happy to provide. He last matched that scoring output on March 4, 2016, as a member of the Phoenix Suns, with another lucrative opportunity looming Monday against Miami should Collins be ruled out again.--Jesse Borek
