6 years agoDallas Mavericks power forward/center Maximilian Kleber will likely miss Wednesday’s contest against the Washington Wizards due to left knee soreness. Kleber has come off the bench for Dallas each of the past four games, seeing his minutes remain steady despite ceding way in the starting five to Dwight Powell. Kleber’s absence should pave the way for a few extra minutes for Powell, who has a favorable match-up against the Wizards’ porous interior defense. Kleber’s likely next chance to take the floor comes Friday against the Orlando Magic.--Jesse Borek
