Jrue Holiday To Miss At Least One Week
6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans point/shooting guard Jrue Holiday will be sidelined for the next seven to 10 days due to an abdominal strain. Holiday’s absence Friday against the Toronto Raptors will be his first of the season, having averaged a career-high 21.2 points per game this season. His time on the sidelines will allow a longer look at Frank Jackson, while also paving the way for Elfrid Payton to see even more ball-handling duties. The Pelicans are scheduled for five games over the upcoming 10-day period, with Holiday's next available chance at suiting up coming March 18 versus Dallas, if early injury estimates are correct.
