6 years agoUtah Jazz point guard Ricky Rubio has been tagged as doubtful to appear in Friday’s contest versus the Memphis Grizzlies due to left hip tightness. With both Dante Exum and Raul Neto still out, Donovan Mitchell is likely to be the only point man around for Utah come Friday. Rubio has scuffled from the field over the past three games, shooting a combined 6-for-28, failing to reach double figures in scoring in any of the outings. The eight-year veteran has averaged just 28.8 minutes per game this season, the lowest total of his career. Barring a dramatic turnaround, he’ll likely next be available to take the floor Monday against the Oklahoma City Thunder.--Jesse Borek
