6 years agoMemphis Grizzlies center Jonas Valanciunas logged a season-best 27 points during Friday’s victory over the Utah Jazz. Valanciunas received just 25 minutes, but took advantage to the tune of a 12-for-17 shooting effort, also snatching seven rebounds and adding two assists. Since his arrival in Memphis, Valanciunas has rocketed up fantasy boards, despite receiving around 26 minutes per game. His 61.5 shooting percentage may take a slight dip at some point, but there seems little doubt that the Grizzlies are invested in him as their center and will give him ample opportunities over the season’s final month to put up significant numbers.--Jesse Borek
