6 years agoDallas Mavericks guard Jalen Brunson has started to rewrite the story of his inconsistent season in recent weeks, as he impressed once again on the court Friday night as his team's second-leading scorer. The Villanova rookie's 18 points fell second behind teammate Luka Doncic and came on effective 8-for-11 shooting from the floor, as well as adequate 1-for-3 shooting from deep. Brunson did not only make his presence known via his own shots, but he also imprinted the game through nine assists and two boards. Keep your eyes on Brunson moving forward as he tries to compliment Doncic in Dallas, and he is in action against a sub-par defense in the Houston Rockets on Sunday evening.--Matthew.McGough
