Derrick Rose Pours In 29 Points Off Bench
6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point/shooting guard Derrick Rose scored in bunches during Saturday’s overtime win against the Washington Wizards, collecting 29 points on 13-for-23 shooting. His scoring output was his highest single-game total since Jan. 20, having come off a month of February where he averaged 16.6 points per game, his lowest monthly total this year. Without Andrew Wiggins in the mix Saturday, Rose absorbed some additional looks from the field, which could bode well for him Sunday against the New York Knicks on the second leg of a back-to-back, especially as it appears that the team will be without Karl-Anthony Towns. Rose, per usual, remains scoring-dependant, but his price tag in DFS is likely too low to ignore.
