Moritz Wagner Scores Career-High 22 Points In First Career Start
6 years agoLos Angeles Lakers power forward/center Moritz Wagner took advantage of his first career start and dropped a career-best 22 points during Saturday’s loss to the Boston Celtics. With Kyle Kuzma ruled out, Wagner was inserted into the starting five and logged 34 minutes. He shot 7-for-13 from the floor overall, adding six rebounds and three assists. With the Lakers’ playoff hopes fading by the day, they’re likely to utilize their youngsters more frequently down the stretch, which is where Wagner comes in. He’s a tremendous DFS value play at this point, and worth keeping an eye on for season-long fantasy playoffs should he continue to see extended minutes totals.
