6 years agoPortland Trail Blazers point guard Damian Lillard went for 18 points and nine assists across 29 minutes during Saturday’s win over the Phoenix Suns, seeing his minutes take a slight dip due to the nature of the win. Lillard and lowered minutes total versus the Suns aren’t new; he averaged just 28.7 minutes per game in three meetings against the club this season. His minutes should rocket back up Tuesday versus the Los Angeles Clippers, whom he has dropped an average of 31.3 points per game against in three meetings this year, including a 39-point barrage in their last meeting Dec. 17.--Jesse Borek
