6 years agoWashington Wizards small/power forward Jabari Parker has become a significant offensive threat off the bench in his 14 games since joining the organization. Parker dropped 19 points during Wednesday’s win over the Orlando Magic, shooting 9-for-12 from the field, coming just a rebound shy of recording his first double-double with his new team. Washington’s glut of wings keeps Parker from entering the starting five, but it actually seems to favor his offensive production, as he has become the go-to scorer for the second unit or when Bradley Beal comes off the floor. He has gone for double figures and played between 22-29 minutes in each of the last seven games, giving him a safe floor for Saturday’s match-up with the Charlotte Hornets.--Jesse Borek
