6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves point/shooting guard Derrick Rose will be on the sidelines for Thursday’s game with the Utah Jazz due to right elbow soreness. The ailment will now have kept Rose out for consecutive contests, allowing Tyus Jones to step into the starting five with both Rose and Jeff Teague down. Rose’s time in March to this point has been limited, but he has shot 51.5 percent from the field overall, with his next chance to return to the mix coming Sunday in a match-up with the Houston Rockets.--Jesse Borek
