6 years agoDenver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic reached his 10th and 11th points of the night as the clock struck zeroes, hitting an off-balance game-winner against the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday. The big man logged 14 rebounds and eight assists across his 30 minutes, delivering his lowest scoring output since Dec. 26. Jokic has now been held under 20 points in four consecutive outings. Things won’t be much easier for Denver’s MVP candidate come Saturday against the Indiana Pacers, who boast Myles Turner and one of the league’s premier defensive units, which could lead to owners shying away from Jokic in a crowded DFS slate.--Jesse Borek
