Kelly Oubre Jr. Drops Career-High 32 Points
6 years agoPhoenix Suns small forward Kelly Oubre Jr. logged a career-high 43 minutes during Saturday’s win over the New Orleans Pelicans, utilizing that time on the court to rack up a new career best with 32 points on 12-for-25 shooting overall. Oubre has shown out since joining the starting five for Phoenix, averaging 20.2 points per game over his last 12 contests. Without T.J. Warren in the fold, Oubre has become the team’s de facto No. 2 scorer, getting ample shot opportunities in Phoenix’s up-tempo offense. He next faces the Chicago Bulls on Monday, whom he has averaged just 4.8 points per game for his career, but has never faced while in a rhythm such as the one he currently finds himself in offensively.
