6 years agoPortland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic finished with 24 points and 16 rebounds during Saturday’s loss to the San Antonio Spurs, attempting 21 shots, a new career high. He also added in four assists and two steals for good measure during what was one of his best fantasy performances of the year. Nurkic has been ferocious on the boards during the month of March, collecting 12.3 rebounds per game in eight contests since the calendar flip. He’ll be able to square off with the Indiana Pacers on Monday, a game in which Portland will likely rely on his contributions from the interior.--Jesse Borek
