6 years agoSan Antonio Spurs shooting guard/small forward DeMar DeRozan keyed his squad to victory with 21 points during Saturday’s win over the Portland Trail Blazers. The Spurs played an absurdly balanced game with seven players finishing in double figures, while DeRozan tied for the team lead in rebounds with eight. In addition to his 21.6 points per game, DeRozan remains on pace to set new career highs with both 6.1 rebounds and 6.1 assists per contest in his first season with the Spurs. He faces the Golden State Warriors come Monday, whom he is averaging 22.1 PPG against for his career, the third-most versus any opponent in the league.--Jesse Borek
