6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers point guard/small forward Ben Simmons wore multiple hats during Tuesday’s win over the Charlotte Hornets, operating from everything from facilitator of the offense to center for the closing unit. Simmons shot 11-for-12 from the field across his 38 minutes, finishing with a team-high 28 points, eight rebounds, five assists and two blocks. He stepped up his performance without Joel Embiid available, although the Sixers’ big man will be back Wednesday against the Boston Celtics, which caps some of Simmons’ ceiling.--Jesse Borek
