6 years agoChicago Bulls power forward Lauri Markkanen broke out of a slump on Wednesday against the Wizards, recording a double-double with 32 points and 13 rebounds. It's the first time in 10 games that he's managed to break the 20-point mark and only the third time this month that he's recorded a double-double. Markkanen shot 5-for-8 from deep and 12-for-21 from the field overall, adding five assists. It was a really nice outing by the big Finn, but it will take something very special to produce a similar line in the next game, with the Bulls coming up against the Jazz. Markkanen shot barely 40 percent and finished with 16 points against them in the first meeting of the season.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
