6 years agoWashington Wizards power forward/center Bobby Portis slid over to the power forward spot in the starting unit with Thomas Bryant getting the start at center in Thursday's loss to the Nuggets. Portis excelled as he made six of 11 shots from the floor to score 18 points while grabbing eight rebounds and draining three triples in this one. After the game, coach Brooks said that he would stick with this big man tandem the rest of the way. This should not affect Portis' output and is worth a look in all formats if you need points, boards, and threes, but do not expect much else from Portis.--Gianni Costantiello
