Mitchell Robinson Logs Second Straight Double-Double Off Bench
6 years agoNew York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson finished Friday’s loss to the Denver Nuggets with 16 points and 10 rebounds in 23 minutes, giving him back-to-back double-doubles for the first time in his career. After stints as the starting five, Robinson has grown comfortable in coming off the bench behind DeAndre Jordan, with five double-doubles since the All-Star break to his credit. Additionally, he swatted three shots versus Denver, giving him 21 consecutive games with multiple blocks recorded. No matter how the Knicks’ offseason shakes out, keep Robinson in mind ahead of 2019-20 drafts, as he has an excellent chance to lead the league in blocked shots.
