D'Angelo Russell's Big Line Not Enough On Monday
6 years agoBrooklyn Nets guard D'Angelo Russell did all he could in the double-overtime loss to the Trail Blazers on Monday, but his club still fell short in the loss. Russell scored a team-high 39 points on 16 of 34 shooting and added nine boards with eight assists and a steal on the night. Russell struggled from deep as he connected on just three of 14 attempts, but in his last four games has been just awesome averaging 34.0 points, 10.8 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals while making 4.8 triples a night, but has been averaging 5.0 turnovers a night in that span. He has had a breakout season for his club and the future looks extra bright in Brooklyn.
