6 years agoPortland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic suffered a fractured left leg during the second overtime of Monday's game. Nurkic landed awkwardly after grabbing a rebound on the offensive end in the win. Nurkic was stretchered off the court to a shocked arena in Portland. Nurkic had 32 points and 16 rebounds before the horrific injury and is expected to miss an extended period of time. Enes Kanter will most likely move into the starting unit with Zach Collins and Meyers Leonard picking up some extra run in the big man's absence. A sad day indeed not only in Portland but within the entire league.--Gianni Costantiello
