6 years agoOrlando Magic point guard Michael Carter-Williams excelled in his 20 minutes off the bench during Monday’s win over his former team, the Philadelphia 76ers. Carter-Williams was named the NBA’s Rookie of the Year in 2013-14 while with Philly, but helped knock them off Monday, as he collected a season-high 15 points and six rebounds, while adding three assists and two steals. Now on his second 10-day contract with the Magic, Carter-Williams is attempting to hang onto a roster spot and performance’s like Monday certainly help his cause. He’s a difficult fantasy option until his spot is a bit more permanent, but he’s worth keeping an eye on over the final two weeks.--Jesse Borek
