Marcus Smart Ties Season High With 21-Point Performance
6 years agoBoston Celtics point/shooting guard Marcus Smart tied both the team high and his season high with 21 points during Tuesday’s win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was all over the stat sheet in typical Smart fashion, adding six rebounds, four assists, three steals and two made triples across 33 minutes for one of his best performances of the year. While Terry Rozier entered the starting five in place of the absent Kyrie Irving, it was Smart who benefited the most and could do so again Friday versus the Indiana Pacers, even as they boast one of the league’s best defensive units against guards.
