6 years agoLos Angeles Lakers point guard Rajon Rondo scuffled mightily from the field during Wednesday’s defeat at the hands of the Utah Jazz, shooting 1-for-11 overall. The Jazz have been known to stymy the best of scorers, but Rondo bared the brunt of their focus Wednesday with LeBron James out of the mix. The veteran did add six assists and five rebounds to his three points to avoid a total clunker, but he’ll look to get back into some semblance of an offensive rhythm Friday against Charlotte, whom he has dished out 9.6 assists per game against during his career, tied for the second-most against any opponent.--Jesse Borek
