6 years agoSacramento Kings shooting guard Buddy Hield fired at will during Thursday’s loss to the New Orleans Pelicans, but finished 1-for-8 from behind the three-point line, including missing a potential game-tying bucket in the closing seconds. Despite that, Hield racked up 27 points on 11-for-21 overall shooting. He has averaged 23.2 points per game over his last five outings, and while he contributed little else on the stat sheet Thursday (two rebounds, one assist), the fact that he has attempted 9.4 triples per game during March bodes well for his upside over the season’s final few weeks.--Jesse Borek
