6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers point guard/small forward Ben Simmons logged 20 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists during Saturday’s win over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Without Joel Embiid in the equation, Simmons saw an increased workload down low, snatching at least 11 boards for the first time since March 6. He entered play Saturday on a six-game non-double-double streak, but tied a bow around March with an 8-for-11 shooting performance. He squares off with the Dallas Mavericks on Monday, whom he recorded a triple-double against back on Jan. 5.--Jesse Borek
