Luke Kornet Goes For Career-High 24 Points In Victory
6 years agoNew York Knicks power forward/center Luke Kornet dropped a new career high during Monday’s win over the Chicago Bulls, finishing with 24 points across 28 minutes, shooting 8-for-11 overall and 5-for-7 from behind the three-point line. He also added six rebounds and three blocks, once again excelling in his return to the starting five. Kornet’s fantasy relevance depends largely on his role; when starting this year, he has averaged 10.9 points per game, as opposed to just 4.3 when coming off the bench. It’s likely head coach David Fizdale runs him back out with the starters Wednesday against the Orlando Magic, whom he has scored two points against in three career meetings.
