6 years agoAtlanta Hawks shooting guard/small forward Kent Bazemore didn’t need a pile of minutes to unleash a scoring barrage during Tuesday’s loss to the San Antonio Spurs. His 26 points off the bench in just 24 minutes mark his highest points total off the bench this year and his most points logged in a game since Dec. 26. Bazemore has seen his numbers take a dip in 29 games as a reserve this season (8.3 points per game vs. 14.7 points per game as a starter), but he also pitched in four rebounds, three steals and two assists Tuesday to deliver one of his best performances of the year.--Jesse Borek
