6 years agoSan Antonio Spurs power forward/center LaMarcus Aldridge collected his 30th double-double of the year during Tuesday’s win over the Atlanta Hawks, logging 16 points and 11 rebounds across 38 minutes. With Atlanta staggeringly thin in the frontcourt, it was surprising to see Aldridge get just 11 shot attempts, but the Spurs had all five starters log double-digit shots in one of their most balanced outings of the year. Aldridge faces the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday, whom he has collected at least 22 points against in each of three prior meetings this season.--Jesse Borek
