6 years agoOklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook made history during Tuesday’s win over the Los Angeles Lakers, becoming just the second player in NBA history to record a 20-20-20 performance, joining only Wilt Chamberlain, who did so in 1968. Westbrook finished with 20 points, 21 assists and 20 rebounds, an impressive all-around outing, even while having shot 8-for-23 overall from the floor. It appears that Westbrook, who is on pace to average a triple-double for the entire year for the third consecutive season, is just hitting his stride ahead of the playoffs, which could lead to some gaudy stat lines, continuing Friday against the Detroit Pistons.--Jesse Borek
