Julius Randle Posts Another Dominant Double-Double
6 years agoNew Orleans Pelicans power forward/center Julius Randle poured in 34 points during Wednesday’s loss to the Charlotte Hornets, adding 11 rebounds for his 30th double-double of the season. With Anthony Davis once again out of the fold, Randle feasted and shot 12-for-19 overall, including 3-for-5 from behind the three-point line. With the Pelicans providing few other consistent scoring options, he has seen his scoring average jump to 24.3 points per game in 20 contests since the All-Star break. Should Davis remain out Friday, Randle should have a golden up-tempo matchup with the Phoenix Suns, who are allowing the fourth-most points per game across the league.
