6 years agoLos Angeles Clippers point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander shot 8-for-16 from the floor during Wednesday’s defeat at the hands of the Houston Rockets, en route to his team-best 20-point effort. The Clippers’ star rookie has now dropped at least 20 points in three of his last four games, after having two such performances prior to that all season. He added four rebounds, four assists and two steals against Houston as well, proving himself as a multi-category contributor ahead of the 2019-20 year, in which he’ll likely remain entrenched as the team’s starting point guard.--Jesse Borek
