Mike Scott Sinks Six Threes In First Start Of Season
6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers power forward Mike Scott entered the starting five for Thursday’s loss to the Milwaukee Bucks and shot 8-for-11 overall, including 6-for-8 from behind the three-point line, en route to a 22-point effort across his 36 minutes. Both the triples and points tie his season high, as he joined the starting lineup for the first time all year in place of the injured Jimmy Butler. Scott has averaged 24.1 minutes per game in his 25 contests since being acquired by Philadelphia, which is the highest mark of his career, also shooting 40.9 percent from deep while making nearly two threes per game.
