6 years agoLos Angeles Lakers shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope got his shot up early and often during his 21 minutes on the court in Thursday’s defeat to the Golden State Warriors, but it afforded him a 3-for-19 overall performance, including going 1-for-9 from three-point range. Caldwell-Pope has become a staple of LA’s starting lineup down the stretch, but Thursday was a step back from his hot shooting over the three previous games. He’ll likely have the opportunity to get back on track Friday against the Clippers, who are third-best in the league (34.1 percent) at defending the three-point line this season.--Jesse Borek
