6 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers point guard/small forward Ben Simmons continued his subdued play during Saturday’s victory over the Chicago Bulls, finishing with 14 points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals. Simmons’ role was dialed back due to the nature of the team’s win, but it marks the third time in his last six games that he has logged just four boards. It’s been a brilliant second NBA season for Simmons, who has become known for prodigious multi-category production, but he has had a slow open to April, shooting 42.6 percent overall while averaging 13 points per game.--Jesse Borek
