Domantas Sabonis Notches 30th Double-Double Of Year
6 years agoIndiana Pacers power forward/center Domantas Sabonis saw a slightly increased role during Sunday’s loss to the Brooklyn Nets following Myles Turner’s departure due to injury, allowing Sabonis to rack up 17 points and 13 rebounds across his 31 minutes off the bench. The double-double marks his 30th of the year, and third in his last four games. Sabonis also added three assists, giving him multi-assist performances in 22 of his last 23 contests. The Pacers close out the regular season Wednesday versus Atlanta and while Turner’s absence could create opportunity for Sabonis, head coach Nate McMillan could opt to hold him back as well with little to play for before the postseason.
