6 years agoGolden State Warriors small/power forward Kevin Durant didn’t need long during Wednesday’s loss to the Memphis Grizzlies to lead his team in scoring, notching 21 points on 7-for-10 shooting across just 18 minutes of action. Adding in six assists, Wednesday was merely a final tuneup before the postseason for Durant, who is set to take on the Los Angeles Clippers, whom he averaged 27 points per game against during the regular season. His stat line provided the anomaly of finishing without a rebound for the first time since Feb. 28, 2017, against Washington, when he departed early due to injury. Durant will be a full-go Saturday for Game 1 against Los Angeles.--Jesse Borek
