Luke Kennard Collects Team-High 21 Points In Defeat
6 years agoDetroit Pistons shooting guard Luke Kennard led the way with a team-high 21 points during Sunday’s Game 1 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks. With the Detroit regulars unable to keep the game close, Kennard played 28 minutes off the bench and shot 8-for-14 from the floor overall, including 4-for-5 from three-point range in his playoff debut. He also pitched in four rebounds and two assists to produce the best line across the board for any Piston, although the chances of a repeat performance of such a feat is up in the air. Bruce Brown Jr. started and scored just two points in 12 minutes, so at the very least Kennard has seemingly earned himself more playing time ahead of Game 2 on Wednesday.
