6 years agoUtah Jazz point/shooting guard Donovan Mitchell was able to pile up 19 points during Sunday’s loss to the Houston Rockets, but it was his inability to collect an assist that is concerning moving forward. Mitchell was corralled to the tune of a 7-for-18 shooting effort, adding five rebounds and three made triples. But he turned the ball over a team-high five times without collecting a dime, his first assist-less showing since Dec. 10. He averaged 5.8 per game during four regular season contests against the Rockets, so with a likely reduced price tag for Game 2 on Wednesday, Mitchell will look to right the ship.--Jesse Borek
