6 years agoSan Antonio Spurs shooting guard/small forward DeMar DeRozan continued his high-volume scoring ways during Thursday’s Game 3 win over the Denver Nuggets, shooting 9-for-18 from the floor en route to a 25-point performance. He played a game-high 38 minutes, also tying for the team lead with five assists, while chipping in four rebounds and three steals and shooting 7-for-8 from the free-throw stripe. Through the first three contests, Denver has shown little indication that they’ll be able to slow DeRozan, which bodes well for the Spurs ahead of Game 4 on Saturday, even if DeRozan does appear in line for a slight price increase.--Jesse Borek
