6 years agoDetroit Tigers pitching prospect Casey Mize has been dominating with High-A Lakeland to start the 2019 season. In his most recent outing, he delivered eight scoreless innings and allowed just a single hit while striking out four. The 16th-ranked prospect, per Baseball America, is carrying a 2-0 record through four starts to go along with a 0.35 ERA and 0.30 WHIP. Mize, the first overall pick from the 2018 MLB Amateur Draft, is looking like a future ace through the early going.
