Serge Ibaka May Be Unplayable In This Series
6 years agoToronto Raptors power forward Serge Ibaka scored just two points and grabbed a rebound in Monday’s Game 2 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. He was 1-for-5 from the floor. After playing 27 minutes per game in the regular season, Ibaka hasn’t played over 20 minutes since Game 3 of Toronto’s first-round series and Monday was his lowest minutes output of the postseason. One problem: minutes with Ibaka on the floor in place of Marc Gasol have been a disaster for the Raptors, so look for them to keep him on the bench as much as possible as the series rolls along, making him a potential fantasy non-entity when these teams meet again on Thursday.
