6 years agoDetroit Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera (knee) is back in the starting lineup Tuesday night against the Tampa Bay Rays. Cabrera sat out Sunday's game and considered season-ending knee surgery, but looks to be good to go after consulting with four specialists. Cabrera's counting stats are definitely taking a hit this season, but the 36-year-old, who will exclusively serve as the designated hitter for the time being, is still getting on base at a solid clip. He is batting fourth against Tampa Bay Rays lefty Blake Snell on Tuesday and can stay on the waiver wire for the time being in shallow mixed leagues.--Joseph Magazzinich
