6 years agoChicago Cubs pitcher Jose Quintana couldn't make it out of the fifth inning on Saturday as the Mets were absolutely all over him. He pitched 4 1/3 innings and allowed nine hits, two walks, three home runs and eight earned runs while striking out just two. The outing inflated Quintana's ERA on the year from 3.87 to 4.50. All in all, Quintana is far from a stud, but is a very useful mid-rotation fantasy pitcher. He should be owned in all leagues and started just about every time out. His next start will be on Thursday at home against the Braves.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
