6 years agoCleveland Indians pitcher Aaron Civale made the most of his MLB debut against the Tigers on Saturday, pitching six scoreless innings and allowing just two hits and three walks while striking out six. The 24-year-old was filling in for Mike Clevinger (ankle), who landed on the Injured List on Friday. One would imagine that Civale pitched well enough to earn a second start, which would likely be in a road game against the Orioles on Friday. The Indians' rotation is so beat up right now that there's a chance Civale's stay could go beyond even that second start. For now, he's worth an add only if you need short-term help. He shouldn't be seen as a long-term solution quiet yet.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
