WNBA Daily Fantasy Lineup Picks (6/30/19): WNBA DFS Advice for DraftKings and FanDuel

We have four games today in the WNBA, and while it's not the best slate of games on paper, there is a chance for some fireworks. With NBA free agency kicking off tonight and your favorite NBA team preparing to make some big mistakes, probably, you should de-stress beforehand by taking in some basketball.

In this article, I'll be providing you with some daily fantasy WNBA lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 6/30/19. These lineups picks will range from elite players to mid-priced options and value plays.

WNBA - DFS Guards

Tiffany Hayes (G, Atlanta Dream) – vs New York Liberty (DK: $9,800, FD: $6,400)

In a battle of the two teams that allow the most points per game, this one could wind up as an incredibly high-scoring affair. Hayes is a little overpriced in my opinion on DraftKings, but I like her FanDuel pricing in this matchup. Hayes has three games in a row with at least 27 FanDuel points, and she's shown an ability to score well lately against a pretty much any defense. New York did manage to shut down Wings guard Arike Ogunbowale in New York's last game, but I don't see them shutting down Hayes.

Kia Nurse (G, New York Liberty) – @ Atlanta Dream (DK: $9,600, FD: $6,800)

The other higher priced guard I like in this slate is Kia Nurse, who is on the other side of the court in the battle between the porous Liberty and Dream defenses. Nurse has scored in double figures in 10 of 11 games this year, and that's been amplified lately, as she's hit the 20-point mark in three of the last six Liberty games. With Tina Charles struggling to be an efficient scorer, Nurse has stepped up. Atlanta allows the second-most points per game this season and where they've done best is at limiting paint points, which sets a shooter like Nurse up for a solid outing.

Jordin Canada (G, Seattle Storm) – vs Phoenix Mercury (DK: $6,700, FD: $6,300)

With Jewell Loyd out again, Canada gets another start. On Friday against the Sky, she turned that start into 17 points, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals. While Phoenix is a tougher opponent, Canada is a well-priced option whose ability to be disruptive on defense and get out on the run can be very useful in this matchup against a Phoenix team that plays at the league's second-slowest pace.

WNBA - DFS Forwards

Candace Parker (F, Los Angeles Sparks) – vs Chicago Sky (DK: $8,600, FD: $7,400)

Chicago allows more points in the paint than any other team. That would probably work out best for Nneka Ogwumike in a vacuum, but the team sat her out of their last game to manage her minutes, which is...a little strange. Parker should also be set up well for success against an exploitable Sky frontcourt, though, and after looking a little rusty when she returned to the floor, she put up 18 points, nine rebounds, three assists, two blocks, and four steals against the Aces. Parker is back. Get her in your lineups before she returns to the very top of the price list.

Cheyenne Parker (F, Chicago Sky) – @ Los Angeles Sparks (DK: $8,400, FD: $6,900)

On the other side of this Sparks/Sky game, Cheyenne Parker has been a solid interior presence for the Sky and takes on a Sparks team that allows the third-most points in the paint and the most rebounds. This could be a high scoring game, and Parker will have chances to make plays on the inside against this Sparks frontcourt that looks a lot more imposing in theory than they've been in reality.

Reshanda Gray (F, New York Liberty) – @ Atlanta Dream (DK: $5,700, FD: $4,900)

I mentioned earlier that the Dream have done a decent job with their interior defense even as they've hemorrhaged points this year. But they still allow the second-most rebounds per game and the fourth-most blocks even as they've held opponents to the fourth-fewest points in the paint. That's where Gray comes in. New York's starting her at center with Amanda Zahui B playing EuroBasket, and Gray's put up solid numbers in her first two starts. She's one of the WNBA's top offensive rebounders, which leads to easy putback opportunities that defenses can't stop. She played 31 minutes against Dallas, finally getting a chance to play a heavy load, which ended up with her recording her first double-double of the season. Gray's got a good chance to put up quality numbers without costing DFS players a ton of cap space.
