5 years agoMemphis Grizzlies small forward Julian Washburn was scorching hot from the get-go during Monday’s Summer League win over the Utah Jazz, finishing 7-for-10 from the floor overall, including 5-for-6 from long range en route to a 20-point effort. Washburn made his NBA debut with Memphis last season, appearing in 18 games, including a trio of starts. With the organization undergoing an offseason overhaul, the 27-year-old is looking to earn a roster spot and his early shooting display will get him some attention after not having an outing last season with multiple made threes.--Jesse Borek
